Cherie, our full-time receptionist joined our clinic in June, 2015. She comes to us with 5 years of experience as a veterinary assistant and another 4 years as a veterinary receptionist. She is a lifelong animal lover with three pets of her own -- two cats named Nestor and Min, and a rescued Terrier mix named Ralphie. Cherie and her husband, Eric, have 3 active young boys who keep her on her toes. When not working or spending time with her family, she can usually be found with her nose in a book.
Haley, our full time receptionist joined our practice in September of 2019. With a background in digital arts, her time as a trainer at Petco brought her back to her love of animals. Haley grew up with a menagerie of animals from dogs to fish and other exotics. Her current pride and joy is her female Leopard Gecko, Bellamy.
When not in the office Haley keeps busy through leather craft projects and exploring Connecticut’s many hiking trails.
Allison, our part-time receptionist, joined our clinic in September, 2020. She is a recently retired elementary school teacher who has always dreamed of working with animals. Allison is a lifelong animal lover with two pups of her own – a schnoodle named Sophie and a cockapoo named Bailey. When not working, you can find her on her yoga mat, a paddle board, hiking, traveling, napping in a sunbeam or deeply engrossed in a novel.
Patty, our office assistant, joined our clinic in June, 2013. She brings over 20 years of diversified office experience to the clinic and a strong love for pets. She once was a fur mom to three dogs and two cats all at the same time. Patty created "4 the Luv of Paws," an avenue to collect and deliver donations and supplies to no-kill animal shelters. She and her late Australian Shepherd, Bear, would pick a shelter, deliver donations and then find a walking trail or park in the area for a day trip. Patty also took in 2 senior kitties, Moo and Birdee, who she cared for until they, too, crossed the rainbow bridge. Patty keeps busy with cooking, walking, bicycling, and painting pebbles to leave on her walks for people to find.
Cory, our Veterinary Nurse, is currently enrolled in San Juan College to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has three cats, Marshmellow, Tater and Nacho, and a dog named Noodle.
