Cherie, our full-time receptionist joined our clinic in June, 2015. She comes to us with 5 years of experience as a veterinary assistant and another 2 years as a veterinary receptionist. She is a lifelong animal lover with three pets of her own -- 2 cats named Smoosh and Nestor, and a rescue pit bull mix named Dilly. Cherie and her husband, Eric, have 3 active young boys who keep her on her toes. When not working or spending time with her family, she can usually be found with her nose in a book or posting book reviews to her blog.
Diane, our office assistant, joined our clinic in March, 2006. She received her associate degree in liberal arts from Tunxis Community College. She worked for the State of Connecticut for 36 years as a human resource officer before turning to the veterinary field. She enjoys working at the clinic because she loves to see all the wonderful pets and their owners come through the door. She has worked part-time elsewhere but likes to be a part of our great staff and wonderful caring doctors. Diane and her husband, Michael, have one adult married son. When she is not at work, she enjoys NASCAR races, snowmobiling, boating, oil painting, and reading.
Patty, our office manager, joined our clinic in June, 2013. She brings over 20 years of diversified office experience to the clinic and a strong love for pets. She once owned three dogs and two cats all at the same time. Patty currently spends her free time with Bear, her Australian Shepherd, teaching him heel dance, tricks, and is concentrating on making him a "Good Citizen", a dog welcome anywhere. Patty's other interest are creative cooking, artistic photography, walking, bicycling, tai chi dance, yoga, and mind and body wellness.
Kim, our part-time certified veterinary technician, joined the clinic in April, 2011. She has worked in the veterinary field since 1990. Kim received her associate degree from Becker College in their veterinary technician program and then received her Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from the University of Connecticut. Kim loves to meet with clients and their pets to discuss any questions or concerns they may have, and to help them however she can. Kim and her husband, Rob, have two young sons and two cats. She enjoys spending time with her family, attending her boys' sporting events, and cooking.
Allison, our certified veterinary assistant, joined our clinic in April, 2015. Ever since she was a little girl she knew she wanted to help and care for animals. Companion and large animals have been a great love throughout her life.
